It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the City of Eagle. The City Public Works Department has put up lights all around Downtown Eagle and in Heritage Park.  The stage is set for Eagle Country Christmas on December 7th from 1-6 PM.

I encourage everyone to come on down and celebrate with us on December 7th. Eagle Country Christmas is a community favorite event that is fun for the whole family. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be making an appearance, along with Santa's Reindeer. Live entertainment will be playing all day from the Heritage Park Gazebo Stage. Kids can make holiday-themed crafts in one of our heated activity tents and the whole family can take a carriage ride around downtown Eagle. If you still need to pick up gifts or decorations, consider supporting local businesses and artisan vendors at the Eagle Country Christmas Holiday Market. Also, be sure to visit the Eagle Senior Center for the Eagle Arts Commission Winter Holiday Quilt and Fiber Exhibit. The exhibit will be open from 12-5 PM.

At 5:30, make sure to return to Heritage Park for the City of Eagle Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by Idaho Power. Treasure Valley Lighting and Display has done a wonderful job decorating the tree. Join me for the ceremony where we will share in the Spirit of Christmas and countdown to the moment we light the tree. I hope you join us for the celebration!
