ENDING OFF 2019 WITH A BANG!
2019 has been an incredible year for Dennes Engineering and we are even more excited for 2020 and the challenges it will bring! We’ve been so busy lately doing awesome things, we almost forgot to let you - OUR LOYAL CUSTOMER - know what we’ve been up to! If you need any help and advice about how to tackle your next engineering challenge let us know - after all we have been doing it for 30 years!

On that note we would like to say thank you for 2019!
It has been great working with you all this year and we look forward to growing our relationship with you going forward into 2020.

 The business will be closed from 20 December – 15 January

 Please send through any orders for 2019 as soon as possible so that we can complete them before we close for the year.

Ferrari Roof rack
Our good old friends at Journeymen came to us with an interesting challenge - Build a roof rack to go camping in a Ferrari! Yes you read it right, Ferrari! We quickly knocked up this awesome little roof rack to help carry a Tent, a table, Spade, Axe and even a potjie pot!

New Signage
With thousands of awesome South Africans driving past us daily, not knowing the amazing things we get to design and build, we decided to expand our signage on Alexander Road! Thanks to Kontra Signs for doing such a great job!
Blenda Venda
Our friends from Blenda Veda are growing and just placed another order for 2 more Bikes!  Our production time is so much quicker using the new bike jig. It's such a pleasure working with customers who have such great small businesses! If you need some exercise and a health kick - just jump on one of their bikes and get pedalling and blend your own Smoothie!
Aquablasting

Blast your parts Clean
With demand steadily growing for Aquablasting, we now have two machines up and running full time. At only R250 for 30mins in the booth, this will take away the sad times of spending hours with wire wheels and expensive cleaning chemicals. Worried about rust? Don’t stress! We provide a complimentary rust prevention dip so your parts are good to go and ready to paint!
Beard Man Blade Works
Another small business we want to mention is Beard Man Blade Works.  We recently helped the beard man modify a press that he will be using to hand make sheaths for his custom knives. If you want to see some quality craftsmanship, or maybe need a custom knife, please go have a look at his Facebook page and support local!
Investing in Equipment
To be the best, you need to have the best! We’ve recently invested in specialized welding equipment from Kemppi! To make the job even easier, our in-house design team designed and manufactured a custom welding trolley to carry our new baby! Welding stainless steel has never been so easy! Thanks to Finnweld for such great aftersales service!
This year we also received our largest investment of new machinery into the workshop! 5 New lathes, 2 New Milling machines and various specialized tooling arrived last month and has allowed us to boost accuracy and production turnaround times!

We’ve got a good feeling about South Africa and truly believe we are #StrongerTogether!  We’re so excited to see what this beautiful county can do, and we’re just doing our best to be proudly South African. We want to send only the very best quality out of our doors at the best value to you, our loyal customers!  Hope to see you designing something soon!
