The South Asian Circle of Hopkinton hosted their annual Diwali Gala at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. The celebratory event featured food, dance performances and much more. View the terrific performances below.

Jeremy Michael Farrell, 42

Jeremy Michael Farrell, 42, of Hopkinton, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home following a valiant battle with drug addiction and mental illness. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Cynthia (White) Farrell of Hopkinton and Michael Farrell and his wife, Diana of Marlborough and his aunt, Carol “Cookie” White, who helped raise him.

A 1995 graduate of Keefe Tech in Framingham, Jeremy went on to work in the construction business. He enjoyed fishing and loved his friends and family fiercely.

Besides his parents, Jeremy is survived by 5 siblings, Lauren Hurley and her husband, Chris of Hopkinton, Tiffany Farrell and her fiance, Chris Gazard of Ashland, Jonathan Farrell and his wife, Laurelle of Marlborough, Sean Farrell and his wife, Carrie of Boylston, and Meghan Amaral and her husband, Mike of Hudson, NH. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Marge Farrell of Marlborough, David and Sharon White of Cambridge; as well as his nieces, Abigail Farrell, Rebecca Hurley and Hailey Farrell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th starting at 9:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Hopkinton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeremy’s name may be made to,HERREN PROJECT – Jeremy’s Legacy
