Celebrating life and new life with Daniela, our soon to be newest mom at church.

Greetings from Buenos Aires

It has been a busy couple of months here in Argentina. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support of the work here.

Since I wrote last, my co-workers John & Sabrina Campos have moved to Recife, Brazil to be with Sabrina's mother who suffered brain damage. Please pray for her, her recovery and Sabrina's family at this difficult time.

One of the joys of being a part of a church family is enjoying your many nieces and nephews! One Sunday afternoon I invited young families and their children to make cookies at my house. What a joy to be a part of God's family!
In August I gave three lectures for about 80 university students in Rosario, about 4 hours from Buenos Aires. I spoke on Love for Neighbor in a Time of Individualism.
I received an invitation to teach at the European Christian Workshop in Lancaster, England to speak on Walking with Jesus. We gave special attention to what it means to walk with Jesus as we walk with the poor, immigrants and refugees.
During my time in the UK, I was able to spend a week with Northside's missionaries to Falkirk, Robin and Chrissy Vick and their wonderful kids, Millie and Murray. I enjoyed being a part of their family for a week and visiting church members with Robin.

I was able to teach and preach in Falkirk, Scotland and I was also invited to preach at a church in London.
After traveling, I always enjoy coming home!

Our church is continuing to grow. I maintain discipleship Bible studies with people as well as share the Gospel with non-Christians who are discovering Christ through contact with our church family.

On Sunday nights I have been teaching a class on the Psalter.

Please pray for our church members who are struggling spiritually as well as those who are struggling financially due to our major economic and political crisis.
In October I was able to attend a missionary retreat in Brazil. It is always great to spend five days with fellow missionaries and mentors and discuss the challenges of serving far away from our families. This is a picture of my small group.
This last Saturday I spoke at a "Faith Festival" in La Plata, 36 miles from Buenos Aires. I lead a discussion about "The Challenges of Belief in the Secular Age".
Please pray for our sister, Osmary who is battling cancer. This is a picture from my last visit.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
