9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16th, Bethany Beach Town Hall
Join DNREC staff from Delaware Coastal Programs and several private-sector partners, part of the Delaware Resilient Community Partnership, who will present information from recent studies of impervious surfaces in Delaware’s coastal communities with examples on best practices for controlling stormwater runoff. This will also include a discussion of the unique challenges of our specific community.
The information gathered at this (and other) workshops will be used to help each community create toolkits they can use to develop strategies for reducing existing and future impervious surface coverage and increasing stormwater infiltration.
