Cell Phones
Please be reminded that if students have a cell phone at school it must be turned off and kept in their book bag during school hours, from 7:30 AM - 3:15 PM. If a student has been found using a cell phone during the school day the phone will be confiscated and kept in the office to be picked up by parents. It’s just about that time of the year again! Our Scholastic Book Fair will take place Monday, December 2, through Friday, December 6, in the school library. On Monday, December 2, you can come visit us until from 7:30 am until 7:00 pm in the evening. We will be open Tuesday through Friday 7:30-3:30 pm. Thanksgiving Baskets
Be on the lookout for information regarding Thanksgiving baskets! Classrooms will start collecting donations during the week of November 18th. An email from room parents will be coming soon with details. Thank you in advance for your support!

CYO Music Contest
Do you like to sing? Play piano? Are you in the school band program? Are you in 4th grade or higher? if you answered yes to any of these questions, then the CYO Music Contest just might be what you are looking for!!!

Yearbook Volunteer
Parents, we need volunteers to help layout the St. Jude Yearbook. All you need is a computer, internet access, and a browser to run the yearbook layout program. A graphic art or project management background is helpful, but not necessary. Each volunteer will be assigned a section or sections of the yearbook to layout - class pages, faculty pages, clubs, sports, special days, 8th grade pages, etc. Layout will begin in January. Training will be provided. Please email Kelly Meek <kmeek@sjsindy.org> if you can help.

If you have photos of activities at St. Jude like sports or school events, please share them with Kelly with a flash drive or through a Google Drive or something similar so we can use them in the yearbook.

System Requirements to run Yearbook program:
PC: Pentium 4 (SSE2) or faster. Operating Systems: Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and above
Mac: OSX 10.6-10.14, 32-bit compatible. Intel CPU required – 450 MHz or faster, X11 (Quartz).
Memory Requirements: Minimum 1.5 GB ram (less that 100 page project), 3GB + is recommended.

CLOW Youth Volunteer Opportunity
We have an awesome opportunity for our youth to make a difference and earn service hours. We need several willing 6th, 7th and 8th graders to help with our Children's Liturgy of the Word on Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:30 Mass times. An adult leads the lesson and typically 30 to 45 kids attend. Scheduling is done through our Ministry Scheduler for CLOW, similar to servers and other ministries. You let us know your Mass time and availability and then our scheduling takes it from there. Contact Christie Denzer familyministry@stjudeindy.org with questions or to volunteer.

St. Jude Women's Club Christmas Dinner
Please join us on December 12th at 6:30 p.m. for the SJWC annual Christmas Dinner. This years dinner will take place at the Valle Vista Golf Club & Conference Center, located at 755 E Main St. Greenwood, IN 46143.
SJWC will cover the cost of dinner if you have paid your $10 membership fees. If you have not paid your membership fees please bring $10 cash to the dinner. Dinner will include water, tea, and a glass of wine. Additional bottles of wine can be purchased.
Optional Gift Exchange: Please bring a wrapped gift (valued at $25) to participate in the gift exchange.

Roncalli Social Media Information
Roncalli hosts evening presentation on social media application: dangers, sextorsion and real life predators. All parents are welcome to attend a presentation from Detective Darin Odier in the Roncalli Auditorium on Monday, December 2nd from 6:30-8:00 PM. Detective Odier has served our community as a police officer for 30 years and a Federal Task Force Officer with the FBI Child Exploitation unit for 13 years. His presentation will focus on social media applications and dangers, sextorsion and real life predators. Earlier that day, he will be presenting to Roncalli's freshman class. Please note that at his evening presentation, Detective Odier asks that no young children be present. While his talk does not include anything graphic, the subject matter is NOT for children.

Singin' in the Rain
Roncalli presents "Singin' In the Rain." Show dates and times are November 14th at 7 PM, November 15th at 6 PM, November 16th at 2 PM and 7 PM.
Tickets for the upcoming musical are now available. They can be purchased at roncalli.booktix.com. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for Roncalli students and children 14 years old and younger. Remember to print off your tickets and bring them with you to the show. Tickets will be scanned at the entrance to the auditorium.
