Chinook Winds Online Directory now live!
You can now access the Chinook Winds Online Directory with its Password: 2020Countblessings and Username: Visitor.
     You can access the directory
on the Chinook Winds website.
Please keep the password in a safe, accessible place for yourself. Occasionally, we will change the password but you will receive an update in a clearly marked, specific email when that occurs.
 You are receiving this email because you are a Ministry Personnel, Regional Representative, Contact for a Community of Faith and/or are a Chinook Winds volunteer.
   Others can have access to the Directory. They just need to send an email to ChinookWinds@United-Church.ca stating the reason you require access to the directory. 
    With the Directory, the aim is to encourage people's ability to communicate with each other while at the same time ensuring people's information is safe. Unfortunately, website trolling for emails including church websites increases.
    The National Church's Communities of Faith locator which is specific to Chinook Winds Region will always be accessible to the general public on the Chinook Winds Website.
   While great effort has gone into updating contact lists and software to create the new online directory, directories are always a work in progress. Please send any changes to ChinookWinds@United-Church.ca

 How to submit news items to
Chinook Winds E-Newsletter

Your event, news or announcement can be included in the Chinook Winds E-News.  For best promotion, it is advisable to submit material four weeks/one month in advance of your event's date or submission deadline. Events will be promoted for two newsletters and if you would like further promotion, please re-submit your item.
      
Please send the following information in the body of an email to Shelley Den Haan via SDenhaan@united-church.ca (Please note new email address):
   • Your name and e-mail as the contact
   • Short title
   • 30-60 word description (Tip: Include a compelling reason why the reader should click to find out more.)
   • The URL or website where readers can visit for more information (If you do not
           have a URL or website, you can attach a pdf flyer or poster.)
   • Date
   • Location
Attach to the e-mail:
      • An image (JPG or PNG) with little or no text that
               represents your event, campaign, etc.
       • PDF poster or flyer, if applicable
       (No image? That's fine. It will be placed in the "Other News" section.)
