2020 Stewardship Update

THANK YOU to each of you who participated in Stewardship Sunday, enjoying pies and turning in your 2020 pledge cards! A reminder that if you still need to turn in your 2020 pledge, please send it in as soon as possible or pick one up in the foyer (ask an usher) or Parrish Hall and you can turn it in today. Trustees are hard at work on next year’s budget and our pledges are important to help inform their work. THANK YOU!

PAN AMERICAN  FAMILY CHRISTMAS BASKETS

A letter from our friends south of the border:

Thanks to your help, last December we were able to provide Food Baskets to our most needed families at Panamerican Institute. Your help again this year will allow us to continue with this Christmas tradition for the 46th consecutive year.

Each gift basket costs only $50.00 and contains pinto beans, rice, wheat flour, sugar, salt, canned tuna and vegetables, margarine, ce- real, cooking oil, tomato sauce, cookies, pastas, gelatin, jelly, toilet paper, soap, tooth brushes and paste.”

Please specify your donation to "Christmas Baskets" in the memo line of your check.  THANK YOU!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2019
Meet in the sanctuary at 9:00am and join in the fun!  We'll set up and light the tree, transform the chancel to Advent, string the outside lights, and decorate the sanctuary!

Still time top dedicate a hymnal!
The Music Team has extended our "Replace the Organ Chimes Fund Campaign" until the end of November.  Come to our table in the Parrish Hall  and dedicate a nameplate for only $25.00 per hymnal!

Let's get our chimes back in working order!

Second Harvest Food Drive!

It's time for our annual food drive! Please think about helping others in your community that may not have enough in their budget for nutritious foods. You can check your pantry for foods that you may not use before the expiration date, or, you can take advantage of those wonderful holiday sales at the grocery store, and get a little extra for those in need.

The Food Bank especially appreciates tuna, canned meat, peanut butter, soup, chili beans, whole grain cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, whole grain rice, pasta & oats.

Please no glass, perishable, expired, or opened items. Also, no "sweets" like candy or sugary foods like iced tea mixes, that have minimal nutritional value.

The 2nd Harvest Food drive barrel will be in Parrish Hall until Sunday, Dec. 15th, the day of our Christmas play. Let's fill the barrel to overflowing!

Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
