A Word from Williamsons
November 2019

Tomorrow (Nov. 16) I will be on my way to the Philippines once again. We will be having church planting discussion meetings in Manila before flying north for meetings with personnel from our teams over the following few days. Please pray for safety for the travel I will be doing, good health, and for the Lord to use me in the different situations I encounter.

Cherri is, as usual, staying home assisting where she can with needs of her parents. Currently Cherri’s mom has shingles and would appreciate your prayers.  Dad is suffering from severe itchiness all over his body which deprives him of sleep at night. None of the treatments the doctor has prescribed has helped. Please pray for him. One other prayer need for dad: he is scheduled to have surgery on his scalp in early December.  Last year he had several cancers removed from the top of his head. Now he has more on the back of his head.  Please pray that they get it all and that he won't need any other treatment. Please pray for Cherri as she manages the various medicines and appointments along with being the go to person for their needs.

As well as caring for the needs of her parents, we now have our grandson, Jakob, living with us. This is an opportunity for a fresh start for him away from the dangerous lifestyle he was sinking into in Florida. He has found employment through a friend and is making good progress with an IT company for whom he works. Please pray for him that he would open his heart to the things of the Lord. That is his biggest need. He also needs to purchase a reliable vehicle soon so that he can get to work without having to use Lyft or Uber or us shuttling him. He leaves at 4:15 a.m. in the morning and his work place is 30 miles away. Please join us in praying for a good reliable vehicle for him.

I am scheduled to arrive back home two days before Thanksgiving.  As we think about this holiday, we can’t help but think of you and what a blessing you are to us through your prayers, gifts and encouragement.  In Indonesia we have two words used for the possessive “our.” “Kami” is used to mean ours exclusive, meaning ours not including you. But the word “kita” is used to mean ours with you included. When it comes to our ministry, you are a much valued and necessary part of our (“kita”) ministry!

We give thanks to God for you,

Barrie & Cherri
