November 2019 Presidents' Message

Happy November and Happy Thanksgiving!  October went by so fast.  

We had a successful  54th Used Book Sale.  There were a lot of wonderful volunteers who made it all possible.  Thank you again to everyone who sorted and priced the books, moved the books, set up the sale, worked the sale, and cleaned up afterwards.  

We will be having RIF coming up at Byron Elementary School and at both Cherished Children Daycare Centers this month.  There is nothing more rewarding than giving books to kids.  I encourage you to join us.

 Book Sale Report

Thanks to the donations from Laurie and Frank, our gross income from the Book Sale is now up to $3300.  We have a number of expenses to reach our net, so anyone else who would like to make a donation to the group would be greatly and gratefully appreciated. (Our RIF expenses are higher than usual because the population at Byron Elementary School is much higher than it was at Tucker!)

Holiday Dinner

The 2019 Holiday Dinner will be held at Marlene's home in Byron on Tuesday, December 3 at 6 pm. Details are being finalized with Red Lobster. Watch the Googlegroup for final detail information.
