Aloha All ~

 

A few months ago my 95-year-young friend, Shirley Morrison, called and asked me to record a song that she wrote when she was a love-sick teenager. I was thrilled to be asked, so pianist Yana Viniko and I recorded it in a studio on Maui and gave it to Shirley for her birthday when she turned 96!

 

I met Shirley in 2006 when we were arrested, jailed and stood trial together for blocking the entrance to the Trident Nuclear Submarine Base in Washington state. We have been fast friends ever since, as we continue to work and play - and sing - for a world of peace and plenty for all.
