Children at Hereward Primary School, Loughton, spent an inventive morning using various Design and Technology skills to create some exciting designs.

The children were involved in a range of activities such as making snow globes, dreamcatchers and a tetrahedron to name just a few.

The Magic Moments day gave them the opportunity to discuss and share ideas with a variety of children and refine their skills.

Katie McLean, the school's Design and Technology co-ordinator, said: "It was a really valuable opportunity for our children to enjoy applying a range of innovative skills."

Year 5 pupil Ronnie said: "This has been my best day ever in school. I have enjoyed working as part of a team creating a huge giant tetrahedron."
