IP500 Main Meeting at Trilux, Arnsberg, Germany

The upcoming IP500 Main Meeting will take place at Trilux in Arnsberg, Germany. In partnership with Steinel a light application will be demonstrated, which will be focused on upcoming SmartIndustry projects, in Germany, India and Columbia. 

Also, our new IP500 OEM Member "Janus Technologies" will demonstrate their solution for emergency lighting test systems. 

The IP500 Alliance will announce the newest features of the IP500 ECO System, incl. “Worldwide first” redundant IoT infrastructure solution with 4 Gateways (see specific topic in this NewsLetter, below), as well as the new version of “the highest security in the IoT landscape”, based on the “symmetric cryptographic and key exchange management method” of the IP500 / CNX200 Module. Other announcements (like VdS and FCC) will be presented too.

IP500 in SmartIndustry Projects / VDI 3813 Applications

The IP500 Alliance is placed as the certified communication IoT network in large SmartIndustry projects in Germany, India and Columbia.

IP500 provides redundant IoT infrastructure (ww first)

The availability of first gateway products is scheduled beginning of Q2 2020. Currently available IP500 Gateways can be upgrade by SW download over air.

IP500 Standard provide the most secure IoT network

The IP500 Alliance and its Partners have announced that the IP500 / CNX200 Module has passed the FCC Certifications tests and is now available for the main regions worldwide. This included Asia (incl. Japan and India), Europe and now North America, Canada and all other countriesrequesting FCC certification.

At the Wireless Congress, the IP500 Alliance has introduced the newest version of the IP500 Standard as the most secure wireless IoT sensor network. The security of the IP500 wireless mesh-network was improved by a “symmetric AES128 End-To-End encryption and authentication method”. This security level provides now the most security at the RF and network level, which make the IP500 wireless network un-hackable with today’s available computing power. This “key exchange method” is dynamic and allows an installer and user of the IP500 wireless network to set-up the installation in a very secure way and to keep this security level at a very high level during the entire life cycle of the IP500 network

The IP500 Board welcomes the following new Members:

Ebm is well established system integrator for large objects, like trade show halls, industry facilities and commercial office building. The group is acting in the EU and has its headquarters in Osnabrück, Germany.  

Janus Technology is provider of evacuation test systems for larger installations. The UK based company has decided to pick IP500 as the communication network because of the VdS status and the reliability in the IP500 Dual-Band Mesh-Method with the scalability from small to large installations of various sensor devices using the same IP500 infrastructure.
 

IP500 Rep in South America

The IP500 representatives, OEMs and the official planers / installers in Bogota, Colombia are working on three large commercial building projects (incl. the biggest university of South America as well as 16 government buildings) to include IP500 based lighting and access control solutions. As soon as the light-house projects will be installed with these target applications, various additional applications / IP500 OEM products will be installed. 
 

IP500 Board Members

The IP500 Board has decided to add another important position to the IP500 Board. The new position will be focused on Marketing & Government Relations. Over the coming weeks, some candidates will be contacted and chosen for interviews. The IP500 Board will introduce the result at the upcoming IP500 Main Meeting at Trilux.
