This weekend!
Our community Get Together

GBL Newsletter, November 2019

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our
Get Together at the weekend !

This meeting is all about neighbours getting together, finding out about what’s happening locally and working on making our area an even better place to live.

We will be starting the afternoon with a discussion, we will hear about local projects, and there will be opportunities to chat and have tea and cake. Kids are welcome too and can join our craft table.
  • Enjoy tea and cake and meet neighbours
  • Meet our Chair James and partnership members
  • Hear who will be on the partnership for the next year – if you are interested in being involved and would like to chat about this in advance please email Claire at Claire.meade@grangebiglocal.org
  • Join a discussion about how we can make our area an even better place to live
  • Hear from some of the organisations and residents that received grants from GBL this year, including Lymore Girls Football Club, Bread N Butter community cooking, Naomi from the gong bath project and Lesley from the gardening project.
  • You are welcome to join in at any time that suits you... see you there.

Can't make it this time? Please email Claire.meade@grangebiglocal.org to share your feedback and ideas.

Our community survey is open!
Thanks for all your responses so far

Haven't completed it yet?
Please do so here by Friday 29th November
and enter our prize draw

We need your help to write our next plan - by answering the questions in our survey, talking to or emailing us. We would also be grateful for any time you can give to make these ideas happen. The more volunteers we have, the more we can do.

The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and it will make a great contribution to our work to find our what local people want for our area.

To thank you for helping us with this,
you can enter a prize draw at the end of the survey...

First prize - voucher for £50 for a meal at La Rugoletta
Second prize - voucher for £25 for a takeaway of your choice

Be sure to leave us your contact details if you want to enter the prize draw!
