Aveiro Animal Save report from their November 3 vigil: "We had the privilege of meeting a beautiful 10-year-old bull - a majestic, calm, curious and gentle animal. Rarely do we come across a bovine who has been allowed to live for so long. 'So long.' It could have been much more. He was a mating bull. That was his function during his life. We don't know the reason why he was taken to the slaughterhouse. Maybe he was replaced for an younger animal, with better genetics. Replaced as if he was an obsolete object. We will never forget him 💚"
