Dear Parents, RE:Update
Here is an update from Jaxon's family:
Jaxon has take a turn for the worse and had another rough night last night. Pain medication was increased as well as the frequency in which it is given. The swelling is worse this morning and his white count is much higher.
The doctor said that the antibiotics won't touch the abscesses that have formed in his abdomen. They have to be drained by a tube or surgery. Surgery is not an option at this point because the swelling is so bad they wouldn't be able to close. The cat scan is scheduled today but they want two teams of doctors present while they do it. When all the schedules align they will do the cat scan and determine if they are able to place more drain tubes. If tubes can't be placed they will wait a week before performing another scan.
Please pray the swelling improves so that they are able to get to these abscesses and drain them. Please continue to pray for Jaxon!
