Add a Brazilian Flavor to Your Home

Meet Estefania Orpheu Pinheiro de Castro, a 17-year-old Brazilian foreign exchange student attending Lakewood HS and currently living with LWC Member Torey Worron. Estefania (Este) is part of the Lakewood/ Rocky River Foreign Youth Exchange Program via the Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club and is looking for 1 or 2 additional host families to stay with while she completes her junior year at LHS.

Este, is a tremendous young lady who speaks good English in addition to her native language of Portuguese. She is a terrific student who is kind, funny, and a talented singer who plays the guitar and ukulele. While we would love to host her for her entire stay, the Rotary program is looking for students to spend time with multiple families while here US and Lakewood in order to provide them with as many different experiences and perspectives as possible during their stay.

Currently, Este is slated to stay with us through the holiday season and join another family or two for the remainder of the second semester and into the early days of June.
