Dear partners, you have been a significant part in our labor of love to plant seeds of Gospel truth in the hearts and lives of beloved children of God from every tribe, language, people and nation.  I wanted to ask you to pray about one particular people group that has limited access to the Bible in an accessible form, the 101 million Urdu speakers in Pakistan and India.

We have worked with a dear Brother, Waseem, on 4 video clips in his language, Urdu.  We had a very good response on social media with the first video clip and then the next 3 experienced some opposition including accusations of blasphemy.  We feel that God wants us to persevere in planting seeds with Urdu speakers and continue to work with Waseem, as he provides high quality Bible translation, a passion for Jesus and a passion for his people.

Three of the unique principles we prioritize at Sabeel Media are PEOPLE, then PROCESS, then PRODUCT, in that order.  The people we work with on a media production process to arrive at a quality product are the key elements to this organization and we cherish those relationships and know that they are our biggest asset in promoting and seeing Bible media programs changing lives!

Waseem is a Bible Translation worker in Pakistan. He has worked with several Translation organizations in different capacities. He is currently 2/3 through a three-year theology degree at the Continental Theological Seminary in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw Belgium.  He continues to be particularly interested in translation and considers it his calling. He is struggling to pay for his study program, living expenses, and provide for his family (wife and two young boys in Pakistan).  He has been developing a team of supporters/partners that believe in his ministry and him as a person!  We are a part of that team and are excited to walk with him in his growth process.
