The geoParsing Team is looking for freshmen and sophomores to join our research lab next semester. Our research team focuses on collecting, geovisualizing, and analyzing information on international development, security, and diplomacy. Our current projects are on Russian power projection in Sub-Saharan Africa and Chinese BRI in Latin America. We are looking for creative and analytically-minded students of any major who have an interest in foreign policy analysis and/or data collection. Interest and/or experience in Russian/Chinese politics and language are pluses but not required.

We have two information sessions this week about our lab: Tuesday (11/12) in ISC 1111 and Wednesday (11/13) in ISC 1280 at 5-6:00 PM.

Anyone interested can submit an application here!

- 1 credit-hour of research per semester (and opportunity for independent research)
- Opportunity for paid geoFellowships
- Internships and connections around the world
- 24/7 access to ISC
