The 30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child is fast approaching. All over the world countries have started their special events under the Unicef’s Global Pledge: “For Every Child, Every Right.” As of today, 67 member states out of 196 have signed the pledge. In Geneva, a Commemorative Conference will take place November 18–20 at the Palais des Nations. In New York, the Commemorative Event will take place on the 20th of November at the United Nations headquarters.
Janusz Korczak Association of the USA has organized a 2.1-mile hike on the Children’s Rights Discovery Trail in Harriman State Park for 40+ students from Viola Elementary School, in Suffern, New York, and for 50+ students from the Hackensack, New Jersey, Polish School.
