THC Ambassador and CEO of Attitude Foundation, Angel Dixon, is excited to share Attitude Foundation's latest documentary series, Perspective Shift, airing on SBS Australia and SBS On Demand tonight and tomorrow.

Perspective Shift is a three-part documentary series which explores the triumphs and trials of three of Australia’s top practitioners in the arts industries, who also happen to be people with disability. Each 30-minute episode focuses on one individual excelling in an area of the Arts and explores their craft and their life experiences, including actor Daniel Monks, artist Prue Stevenson and dancer Jana Castillo.

Perspective Shift airs on SBS Australia free-to-air TV on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

- Episode One: Daniel Monks 4.00 - 4.30pm Tuesday 12 November

- Episode Two: Prue Stevenson 3.30 - 4.00pm Wednesday 13 November

- Episode Three: Jana Castillo 4.00 - 4.30pm Wednesday 13 November

Dr Julia Moore
Implementing and sustaining practice change in disability and rehabilitation support systems workshops

Two implementation workshops were recently held at GCUH and Southbank campus of Griffith University on 22nd and 23rd November, with over 35 people in attendance. Dr Julia Moore and Sobia Khan were excellent and knowledgeable presenters who were adept at contextualising implementation science into real world contexts for people. Julia and Sobia are leaders in the field of practical use of implementation science and the translation of knowledge into practice.

Participant workshop comments below:
“Great Presenter, very engaged, the role play was good! Generated the right discussions”
“Pace, was good, liveliness of delivery, enough detail, opportunity to ask questions as we go, linking it to real life examples and story-telling”

Participant comments about one thing they were taking away from the workshop and putting into practice:
“Provide my leaders with bite sized info they can share further up the executive line”
“Incorporate change behaviour skills from multiple disciplines in research”

I also wish to acknowledge the Griffith University International Workshop Grant that made this workshop possible and accessible to participants.
