Annual Full Council Meeting Success
The Annual Full Council Meeting & AGM was held 2 November 2019.

Thank you for giving up your Saturday (for some of you, your weekend) to attend a very successful Annual Full Council & AGM.

Full Council approved 27 motions to guide NTCOGSOs work for the next 12 months. Fantastic work everyone! We are truly grateful to you all. Keep up the good work.

Farewell Kim!
This week we say farewell to Kim Hoyle with a bitter sweet note!

Kim has been an integral member of the NTCOGSO Management team for 4 years, 2 months and 26 days! - Being the glue that holds us together! We wanted to take this opportunity to hear a little more about Kim's COGSO journey from her:

We will miss Kim greatly and very happy to see her further her career course here in the NT.

Governance Health Check
Has your School Representative Body conducted a review in 2019?
 
The Governance Health Check is used to assess the "health" of your School Representative Body in regards to community engagement and governance. Not only does it give your members an opportunity to implement change where necessary but also time to celebrate and acknowledge the great work already achieved.

School Grant Opportunity!
Community Safety | $10,000 - $500,000
 

The Safer Communities Fund Round 5 Infrastructure grant provides schools and pre-schools with grants for crime prevention initiatives aimed at reducing crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.

Project activities can include infrastructure activities, such as installing fixed or mobile CCTV cameras,security lighting, fencing and gates, bollards, external blast walls and windows, security and alarm systems, public address systems, intercoms and swipe access. Plus hiring security.

Grant Amount: $10,000 - $500,000 per campus covering 100% of eligible project costs.
