Dear Driscoll Parents and Guardians,

Unfortunately we will need to cancel this Thursday's Early Release Movie.  The PTO is only able to offer Early Release Movies if we have enough parent volunteers to make the program possible.  We need at least two parents to assist in the K-1 room and at least five parents to assist in the Theater with the 1-5 movie.  These parents are necessary to help check the children in, hand out snacks, supervise the kids during the movie, and escort kids to the bathroom.  Without this level of parent support, it just would not be safe for us to offer this program.  For this Thursday's session, we had zero parent volunteers for the 1-5 group.

We wanted to let you know as soon as possible so you could make alternative arrangements.  We will be providing a refund for the missed session; this refund will go through at the end of all four Early Release Days, in case we need to cancel any other movies.

We are still looking for parent volunteers for the other three movies.  Right now, we have 1 volunteer for November 20th, 1 volunteer for December 5th, and 4 volunteers for December 12th.  If we need to cancel the movie on November 20th, we will let you know no later than next Monday, November 18th.  Volunteers can sign up at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0f4eadae28a0fe3-early

We also know that some of you missed the registration deadline for signing your children up for the movies.  We will be opening up registration again later in the week for a few days.  We will send an email letting you know when this will happen.
