Dear Friends,
I am pleased to share with you updates regarding our Scarborough-Guildwood community and recent accomplishments of the Canadian government.

The holiday season and Christmas is a time to reflect on life’s many blessings and how we can share them with those in need. On behalf of my wife Carolyn, our children and grandchildren, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thank you Scarborough-Guildwood for re-electing me as your Member of Parliament. It is an honour to be your voice in Ottawa.

This mandate, I will work to preserve and enhance the Canada Child Benefit, an important initiate in helping children and families in our community. 

Canada Summer Jobs

Meeting students who participated in the 2018 Canada Summer Jobs program
Employers, stand by, Canada Summer Jobs funding will open in the new year for the summer of 2020. Stay tuned for more information about how to apply. 

Did you know, that in 2018, 221 young people in Scarborough-Guildwood were employed through the Canada Summer Jobs program? That's an increase from the 105 youth who participated in 2015.
