Wanted: Committed & Compassionate High School Students!
Are you looking for ways to make your community a better place through volunteerism? Are you interested in developing leadership, communication and management skills? Are you looking to meet and work with peers who are interested in serving the community? Look no further! Mitzvah Circle’s Teen Ambassador program is a unique, service-learning and leadership development program for high school students that is an amazing experience! Our ambassadors are positive and motivated students who will become incredible leaders. receive training to independently guide and lead volunteers of all ages, communicate clearly and efficiently. Our Teen Ambassadors make a huge impact on the community!
Program Details:
Learn how to lead other volunteers in our work of providing personalized, basic necessities for people struggling with crisis, poverty, serious illness and homelessness.
Participate in 10 hours of training on at least two designated training dates (more are encouraged) and other days independently selected.
Volunteer at least 12 times within the year after school, on Sundays or on days off from school.
Students who volunteer at least 16 times are eligible for our Leadership Fellows program in subsequent high school years. Leadership Fellows help train new Teen Ambassadors.
