wandmaking at BOOtanical

Thank you for attending BOOtanical at the North Carolina Botanical Garden and making it such a success. From seeing live owls and snakes to learning about bats and the many kinds of carnivorous plants, the Garden is the perfect place to celebrate nature’s “scarier” animals and plants.

The Garden offers educational programming year-round, including our heralded hikes and tours, classes, and lectures. You’ll find outings specifically geared to children and families, such as the caterpillar workshop and Bluet classes for ages four to five. The Garden's summer nature camps are highly acclaimed and are an excellent foundation for a child’s understanding and wonderment of the natural world.
