FORMAL NOTICE
December 12th Continuum of Care Meeting, Board Member Elections, and Governance Vote
Dear Continuum of Care Members and Community Partners,
 
Please read this newsletter in its entirety, as it includes important information on the next Continuum of Care meeting, the 2019 Board elections, the 2019 Continuum Charter, and Bylaws proposed amendments. 
NOTICE FOR VOTING AT DECEMBER 12TH CONTINUUM MEETING
The next Continuum of Care meeting will be held on Thursday, December 12th, from 2-4pm at Helping Up Mission, located at 1029 E. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD.  The agenda is available here.

During the meeting, eligible Continuum of Care members will
be asked to complete a ballot to elect new Continuum Board members for open positions in the following categories:
1) Homeless or formerly homeless individuals
2) Homeless and at-risk of homelessness service providers
3) At-large representatives
4) System leaders, and
5) City representative. 


Eligible Continuum of Care members will also be asked to vote on a proposed amendment to the Continuum Bylaws to increase the size of the Board.  A sample ballot, information on each nominee, and current Board members are included here.
CONTINUUM MEMBERSHIP AND VOTING RIGHTS
To be eligible to vote, Continuum of Care member agencies or individuals must have attended at least 50% of meetings in the previous year (or since becoming a member).  If you or your agency is not already a member, you must submit a Continuum Membership Commitment Form by Thursday, December 5th in order to be eligible to vote.

Current Eligible Continuum Member Voting List
If you do not see your name on this list or believe you should be eligible to vote, please contact us immediately.  If you need to change the agency representatives authorized to vote on behalf of your agency, please contact us immediately. Individual members are not included for public dissemination, but you may contact us directly to confirm membership status and voting eligibility. Each eligible voting member (agency or individual) will be permitted one vote.
