"The master's tools will never dismantle the master's house." Audre Lorde

Dear ones,

During the holiday season,  do you you ever say to yourself,  "If I could just get away for a short weekend in a beautiful environment; just far away from New York City so I feel like I'm away, but close enough so I don't feel like I'm neglecting my life?!"

I got just the thing for you!

Intimacy with Body: A Path to Liberation
A Weekend Residential Retreat at Copper Beech Institute
December 13th (5pm) - 15th (1pm)
303 Tunxis Road, West Hartford Connecticut 06107

In this weekend practice retreat of Vipassana meditation, we’ll explore our connection to impermanence through the Four Foundations of Mindfulness and the natural world. Cultivating a new, or deepening an existing intimate relationship with the body, will support this deeper knowing. This retreat is open to folks at all levels and will culminate with a sense of connection to ourselves, each other, and the natural world, along with tools to practice during this holiday season and beyond.

This retreat will be held in noble silence during the morning practice periods, opening up into relational practice and practice in nature (weather permitting) in the afternoons.

Noble silence and the five precepts for ethical conduct (protecting life, generosity, mindful of speech, protecting the sexuality of self and others, and freeing ourselves of intoxicants that cloud the heart and mind), will be observed to support this practice-based weekend.
