Message from Susan Warner, Museum Supervisor.

This is just a short note to let you know that I am retiring in December 2019. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has supported the museum. I have been fortunate to be able to work at a place that has provided me with so much joy. The knowledge about Collingwood’s people and its history has been a constant learning experience. I have met many people during my time here who have also shared their passion for Collingwood’s heritage and joined me over the many years of programs, events or exhibit openings.

I look forward to seeing the new and exciting things that will be happening at the museum as one of Collingwood’s community members.

Some very big changes are occurring this December!

Susan Warner, Museum Supervisor, is retiring after 21 years with the Museum. Friday, December 13 will be Susan's last day. For those wanting to stop by and share well wishes, Susan will be available from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on her last day.

Melissa Shaw, former Museum Assistant, is assuming the role of Museum Supervisor. Lindsay Cook will be taking over the position of Museum Assistant. We wish Susan a wonderful retirement while we congratulate Melissa and Lindsay on their new positions!

The Museum Gift Shop is a great source for unique gifts and stocking stuffers. Be sure to take advantage of our Holiday Sale, on until December 24!

They're back! Get your terminal mug before they're gone! These beautiful mugs are handmade by local artist Kirsty Wilson and are one of our most popular gift shop items.

With 2019 coming to an end, we are reflecting on a fantastic year of children's programs. We owe a big thanks to all the children who participated and made our programs such a success. We're so lucky to have such creative and fun groups join us. We couldn't do it without you!
