Dear Friends,

Weave, weave, weave us together! We are weavers -- each of us. We weave our families, our friends, and our creativity through the fabric of our lives, homes, and dreams.

Inspired by this article that suggests community weavers will save our broken nation, EP is looking directly at social fragmentation and actively creating collaborations and artistic installations that weave together the people of Charleston’s Upper Peninsula and beyond.

EP PROJECTS AT A GLANCE
Indigo Vat Shack is back by popular demand! All fall, EP hosted community dye days to introduce dye techniques and set the historical context behind Charleston’s connection to indigo.
Working with a team of other arts organizations, Enough Pie helped develop the first Public Art Policy for creating a process and protocol for public art in the City of Charleston.
Our Butterfly Book Nook on King Street thrives with pollinators and butterflies galore.  Nearby? Please re-fill books to the Free Little Library there -- children's books, how-to books, novels -- all appreciated!
Our weekly Bowls & Bingo offers nourishing soup (thanks to our partners at Stone Soup Collective) and festive prizes to an elder community in the neighborhood.
Season 2 of Tales from the Manor, a talk show on Ohm 96.3 Radio, is in full swing (listen every week on Wednesdays at 1pm with a re-air Sunday's at 3pm). Can't listen live? No problem! All past episodes are available any time on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. Season 1 was so insightful it is being turned into Enough Pie’s first adult book, available in early 2020.
THE PEOPLE’S PARK weaves the I-26 underpass together with a large scale collaborative mural project made by local artists and community members for Spring, 2020. Stay tuned for a LOT more about this exciting project!
Much still needs to be woven together -- lonely people with nearby neighbors, ignored public spaces with purpose, communities with connection. Enough Pie uses creativity, a love of people, and a spark of joy to bring people together and be the change we want to see in the world.

We prioritize our expenses to advance our mission by supporting our creative community of artists and keep our programming free, so everyone can participate. Last year, artist stipends grew by almost 90% and supported more artists than ever before!
To continue weaving Awakening 8, offering artist stipends, keeping our staff in the community and forming empowered connections, our goal is to raise $50,000 by year-end. Won’t you weave with us?
