Pantomime, Christmas stories and songs, original musical comedy, jazz, Sherlock Holmes and something for the tiny ones

Be it traditional or something a bit different, there's plenty to entertain at the Headgate Theatre this December. After our sell-out pantomime there's limited availability for A Christmas Carol performed by Robert MacCall. However another rendition of the Dicken's classic by Anthony Roberts can be heard a week later. Original musical comedy Tunswick comes from the talented Wade Ablitt and Wide Eye Productions, and Caroline Fritz and friends will bring us a collection of seasonal music while wishing us A Jolly Holly Christmas at the Headgate! There's a star lit show for babies (and their parents) and jazz from the Crissy Lee Quintet before an adventure with Sherlock Holmes as he pursues the Warlock of Whitechapel.

December will also see the publication of our latest, bigger brochure, with details of a new season of events and shows starting in January with the Headgate Studio Sessions, two short plays from Colchester Theatre Group and a tale of terror for a winter's night in Darker Shores. More details coming soon on our website and Facebook pages!
