This time two years ago, Boston School Finder was still just an idea, a rough sketch of something we knew in our bones that this city and its families desperately needed. Two years later, that rough sketch has transformed into a robust website, programs in our communities, and a mission to advocate for educational equity.

This past Sunday in the Boston Globe Magazine, I shared a piece of my story and why this work is personally important to me and for our city.

Boston School Finder has grown from idea to non-profit, reaching over 15,000 people in just two years—and there's still so much more work to be done to ensure Boston families have equitable access to schools.

We couldn't have done it without you.

Even as we slow down for Thanksgiving season this week, we can't forget that school enrollment season slows down for no one!

Don't forget: school previews have arrived, picking right back up after the holiday. The METCO verification deadline is sooner than you think (Dec. 8) and BPS pre-registration will be here before you know it.
