Entering the New Year with ABTEC2000: Highlighting Alberta's Entrepreneurial Technology Companies that Collectively are Creating 2000 New Jobs in 2020

One year ago TechnologyAlberta created an initiative called the ABTEC1000 - in an effort to help gain more visibility for Alberta's Entrepreneurial High-Tech Sector which has been actively hiring and growing in this tough economic environment although rarely making the local news. Throughout 2019 we showcased over 70 entrepreneurial tech companies across Alberta which collectively were hiring for at least 1000 new jobs. Not only have we met our 1000 new hires goal, but we - and our provinces entrepreneurs - have exceeded it.

Therefore in the new year, Technology Alberta will be working towards a new aggressive goal - Identifying 2000 new hires in our sector in 2020! Going forward the ABTEC1000 will now be known as the ABTEC2000.

If your tech firm (or a tech company you have heard about) is growing, please reach out to us so we can feature them as an ABTEC2000 company and attract talent for them - and together help grow great tech companies in this wonderful province of ours.

Our team has a minimum viable product that allows people to build, deploy, buy and or sell machine learning models and your information will help us to expand on our offering and drive new sources of revenue from your existing investments.

If you or anyone of your connections have a machine learning application, please reach out to John Murphy (jmurphy@streamtechinc.com) to discuss this opportunity.

Unlock is a passwordless authentication and user management platform. We are currently looking for companies/developers to test it out and potentially carry on using it. We're offering 6 months of free use during the testing period and integration help for anybody interested.
