“After two years of pause our Children's Ministry is back in full swing this Fall. I praise God for the team composed of staff, interns and students that are excited to go out and share the Gospel with children, parents and teachers.
What a privilege to lead the team and to be part of this ministry! We have six people on our team, and all of them believe that children need to hear the Good News at a young age. You should see their eyes when they take the puppets into their hands when we get together for practice!
This past week we got brand new puppets. Our old puppets were badly worn-out, so we praise God for the new ones that are much easier to work with. The new puppets will be a blessing to us as a team and to the attendance of our Gospel Presentations as well.
At the end of October we had our first ministry with our new team, with 250 children attending our three meetings where we sang with them, we involved them in playing on bells, and of course shared the Gospel with them through our puppet story and sketch board message. Even though it was our first day of ministry the team did a great job! Now we are preparing for our Christmas season, which starts on November 30th, Saturday. We will have 3 programs in one day where 150-200 children will hear the Gospel.
We have eight invitations already, mainly for the weekends, but we would like to have more. Please join us in prayer for open doors and that we could use our time and the opportunities provided by the Christmas season well for the Glory of our God."
