Tarot Card of the Month ~ The Chariot
For those who are reading this newsletter for the first time, every month I discuss the tarot card that has appeared the most in the month's tarot readings. Even though the cards will always have individual significance, a commonly occurring card can also have a say about what's going on for the whole community.
What a welcome sight to see The Chariot roll its way across my tarot table all month! As we brace ourselves for the final month of the year, The Chariot allows us to settle into a steady pace so we can steer ourselves in a direction that brings the kind of results we hope for, with less inclination towards nostalgia and/or obligation.
Here is our opportunity to try for results that others may have said are not possible, but we want to see if we have a good chance at least. The emphasis here will be on instinct regarding how quickly or slowly to move, depending on the level of stamina we have in the moment. It doesn't matter how able-bodied we are, what matters is the intention to create space to reflect and celebrate where we are in this moment.
Now to hear from four different
Chariot cards from my personal tarot collection:
The Chariot from the Next World Tarot says, "Who needs wheels when you are the vehicle! Ignore the calls to fit in, and instead move in a way that connects you to your body and your purpose."
The Chariot from the Elora Tarot Project says, "Let your ideas be as spacious as the night sky so that you can recognise what is worth your while simply by how inspired and clear you feel."
The Chariot from the Slow Holler Tarot says, "Know when to go fast so that you can cover lots of distance, and know when to pause so you can integrate what you have felt on the way. It's not always about trying to keep up with the ambitious pace that is supposed to bring about success. Perhaps it's not about that at all."
The Chariot from the Tarot of the Crone says, "With wild confidence and eccentric flair, make sure you are doing at least one thing that blasts apart conventions which decree that you are supposed to be polite and restrained. Act in a way that is freeing for you."
Until next month,
Best wishes,
Sarah Barry (Psychic Sarah)
P.S Want more tarot stories? I post a Tarot Reading for the Collective on my website every month. This month I used the Slow Holler Tarot by the Slow Holler Collective.
This month's questions are:
What should we be wary of?
What do we need to move on from?
Where can we find guidance when distracted?
What do we need to prepare for?
Read on for the responses, and please let me know what you think.
[I usually post the Tarot Reading for the Collective in the first half of every month, sometimes later... but it does happen every month!]
