Here's what we've been up to:

Our Youth Ministry leaders attended the Upper Room Conference and learned how to share Jesus with others.

Over 110 young people gathered last weekend for our annual Grade 6 Retreat where we learned how to serve others.

We had our first Retreat 2020 "Pursuit" Service Team meeting where we decided on goals and themes.

Upcoming Events:

Youth Night: You Are Not Alone

Saturday, Nov. 23 7 PM - 9 PM at St. Matthew's

Join us for games, snacks, fun and prayer as we dive into our topic "You Are Not Alone".

Discipleship is not done in a vacuum. In order for our ‘yes’ to Jesus to have staying power, we need the support of community; in particular, faithful mentors and virtuous friendships. In this final session, we will dive deep into what "accountability" really means.

Eucharistic Adoration & Social

Saturday, Nov. 30 7 PM - 9 PM at St. Matthew's

Adoration is back! Join us for a night of prayer, worship and opportunity for confession.

Afterwards, we'll hang out together in the fireside room with some snacks and fun activities.

St. Matthew's Youth Retreat 2020: Pursuit

February 14-16 at Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre

Young people age 14-19 are invited to attend St. Matthew’s Youth Retreat Weekend: "Pursuit", taking place at Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre on February 14-16, 2020.

RETREAT THEME

God's strongest desire is to be close to us. His heart aches to enter into a deep, intimate and lasting relationship with each one of us. Even when we stray, God is recklessly pursuing us. He sprints after us with an affectionate and merciful heart. God is in constant pursuit of our hearts.

In Ezekiel 34 God says to us: "I myself will search for my sheep and look after them...I will search for the lost and bring back the strays."
