Season of Thanks!

Dear friends,

I am truly blessed to work with such quality and caring volunteers. It amazes me daily that I have met each one of them and I get this opportunity to lead a group of people with such a passion and willingness to go above and beyond. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt these individuals have been called to this place, and for that I am thankful.

Their passion and commitment to young people is outstanding and helping to ensure a better future filled with love and hope, as well as helping to fulfill dreams. Regardless of their "why" they chose to say yes to this opportunity, they are making a difference in the lives of young people.

Since we began in 2012, this message of hope has been imparted to more than 38,000 students using all volunteers. That speaks volumes! I was once told you will never find enough volunteers and will most likely have to pay instructors. To date, every need has been filled and I have seen the power of the volunteer. The heart is there and that's worth more than I could ever ask for. It's my hope to always enlist volunteers to keep the passion alive and the connection with students authentic.

I want to share some quotes from our classroom teachers. I believe you will understand more clearly just why I am feeling so thankful today.

"They knocked it out of the park. VERY WELL DONE!"

"This was a very powerful program."

"Loved it!"

"I cannot say enough about how she kept the kids moving and thinking and involved. She was wonderful in every way."

"I think this is a valuable program."

"She does a magnificent job meeting the emotional needs of my students."

"She is a fantastic instructor. She was ready to answer any questions the students had."

During this season of thanks, I want to personally thank every volunteer who has joined us along this journey. Whether they actually go into a classroom, prepare the classroom materials, work in our office or any other "behind the scenes" activity to make these programs happen, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are valued and you are making a difference!

Be blessed,

Shari McCutcheon

Pure in the Community

We have been honored to be chosen to work with Hope Southern Indiana and their Impact 100 project of Esteem Makeover Bootcamp for the second time this year. Volunteer Ronye Mears, along with helpers Sue Cozzin and Cathy Summers did a fabulous job presenting our program to the girls.

Ronye shares with the girls "Truth or Lies" we believe about ourselves and how to realign our thinking if we aren't believing the truth.
