SC Interfaith Power and Light (SCIPL) is as program of Greenville-based Sustaining Way, an interfaith nonprofit that uses education, collaboration and workforce development to build a thriving, sustainable community and environment. Sustaining Way is proud to be included in the Angels of 2019 list published by the SC Office of the Secretary of State which honors organizations that exemplify charitable giving!
 Angels are nominated by the public and must devote at least 80 percent or more of total expenditures to charitable programs, make good use of volunteer services, and meet several other criteria set forth by the Secretary of State. Sustaining Way holds the distinction among the ten 2019 Angels of devoting the highest percentage of expenditures to programming – 98.5%.
