Commissioners rezoned the Reeves Creek mixed use development, the ZAB tabled a proposed Kelleytown grocery store, and new apartments are planned off Jonesboro Road.

Commissioners rezone Reeves Creek in Stockbridge

Henry County rezoned 317 acres to mixed use this week. The property is located east of Interstate 75 in Stockbridge and part of a larger 465 acre development proposed by Forest Development Group.
The project plans over 1,600 residential units, extensive commercial and office space, and high-rise buildings. The project also includes land set aside for a convention center, arena, and mass transit station.

Kelleytown Grocery Store

JWA Ventures II, LLC of Montgomery, AL is proposing a new grocery store-anchored development at the intersection of state route 155 and Kelleytown Road. The property consists of 22.3 acres. More Info

The zoning advisory board tabled the rezoning request over questions about zoning conditions and planned uses on the site. The board next meets in January 2020. Learn More

Jonesboro Road Apartments

Commissioners approved a request to modify zoning conditions to allow an additional 300 apartment units at Canyon Springs. The total number of units allowed is now 840. Keep Reading

An additional 321 apartments are proposed in a different development beside McDonough Christian Church. The request is pending to be scheduled before the ZAB. Read More
