Holiday Cheer Drive
We are nearly to the halfway mark for wish list sponsorship and excited to announce that shifts to wrap and sort Bundles of Cheer are now available to sign up

We will once again have a call list, should a spot be full or proposed date not work with your schedule. Email Bryan Lamoreau, SPUR Volunteer and Event Drive Manager to be notified of new volunteer opportunities.

If you haven't sponsored a wish list yet to provide winter essentials and meaningful gifts to 600 local recipients, please find our sponsor locations here. Completed Bundles of Cheer are due back by December 6.

One week from today, we invite you to support SPUR on #GivingTuesday, a global philanthropic movement, on the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and our world.

Over the past five years, with your investment in our work, we have built a solid foundation, made a tangible impact and grown with measured steps. Looking ahead to 2020, our plans are to deepen relationships with area organizations, further engage the communities we serve and continue to thoughtfully examine unique and meaningful ways to cultivate a Community of Doers while making a tangible impact will be possible with your support.

In 2019, your partnership helped make possible the preparation of 1400 meals for neighbors facing food insecurity at Lifebridge, provided 662 local children with new backpacks and school supplies, harvested over 440 pounds of organic produce for local food pantries, cleaned beaches, delivered rescued food and are currently working to secure sponsors for approximately 600 recipients so that they can have a cheerier holiday

On #GivingTuesday, join with us as a vital part of building the success of our next five years. Give monthly, give one time, give to make a difference.

With Gratitude,

Aliki Keating

Meet our Director of Development

We are THRILLED to announce Aliki Keating has accepted our invitation to join the team part-time as our first Director of Development!

Aliki Keating spent the first decade of her career in marketing at the intersection of music and technology, with a strong focus on events and partnerships. She later used those skills to transition to Year Up, a national non-profit dedicated to closing the Opportunity Divide by providing young adults with the tools and education to succeed. There, Aliki joined and ultimately led the New England development team, overseeing donors’ stewardship, corporate partnerships, grants, volunteer management, and related marketing and communication activities. Aliki has a BA in Music Business from Berklee College of Music. She loves spending time with her husband and kids (two-legged and furry), cooking, knitting and playing the piano. She has a deep love for coffee and post-its. Aliki is above all passionate about ways individuals and communities can inspire change, kindness and innovation. This is why she now feels at home at SPUR.

Please join us in welcoming Aliki to the SPUR team. We are so excited to take this next measured step in our growth, expanding our development events, deepening our donor relationships and ultimately increasing our impact.

Welcome aboard Aliki!
