A Time to be Thankful!

Thanks to all members, business members, pledges, prospective members, interested parties, and everyone who has helped and continues to help getting the Co-op store open. Many, many people have put in significant efforts to keep striving towards the goal, and as we see 2020 on the horizon, let's all take a moment and be thankful for everyone's time and efforts.
Survey Results
Thanks for everyone who filled out the survey.  Paso Robles wins as the most desired location and proximity to 101 is important.  Most viewed the Central Coast as "Local", and over 80% feel being local is important.  Local & Organic Produce, Local Dairy, and Local Meat along with Local Partnerships top out the list as store needs.  Other top tier items are labeling, sustainability, and having a bakery.  If interested in seeing full results, let us know.  We are hopeful for an article in an upcoming Paso Mag covering survey results.
We can always use volunteers to put in time, whether a little or a lot.  A Newsletter writer/editor, Events coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, plus places & ideas for Local Bites 2020.  We meet every third Wednesday each month - see News & Events / Calendar for details, but that is not a requirement if you can help.  Respond to this e-mail with interest and any ?s
So WHERE DO YOU check the pulse of the Paso Food Co-op?  Facebook, Instagram, Newsletters, Webpage?  The survey suggested e-mail was significant - if you have other places you'd like to see, or we aren't getting you the info you want to see, please respond & let us know!
Other News
In conjunction with e Food Coop Initiative, the board has engaged a consultant to give us a Market Analysis with important info on store size, location, how well a co-op can work in our market, etc., etc.  The survey helped identify what is most important to members and the community.  We will roll this info into our business plan and start the final push to get to 500 members.  You can help!  If every current member can simply recruit another interested member/owner, we will double and be just about there.  Could be a great gift idea!  More people want to see the store open and go shopping there than want to do the leg work to get it open, but it will take a coordinated effort to make this happen.
