Christmas Tree Lot -Opens This Week!
This is one of the biggest fundraisers we have during the year. And it's success depends on lots of hands. After years of selling trees in the Publix parking lot (corner of Gordy Pkwy/Sandy Plains Rd), residents in our community, including many alumni parents/students, have come to rely on us for their Christmas Trees. We can't disappoint them! Adults are needed to take payments and trim tree trunks (in the words of Tim Pattison, "chainsaws are fun!"); and students are needed to sell trees and secure them onto customers' vehicles.
Important Dates:
Nov 24th -Set up lot, 2-5p (40-50 students/adults needed)
Nov 26th -Unload trees, 4-6p (25 students/adults needed)
Nov 29th -Lot opens, 9a (shifts available all day)
Dec 7th -"Trunk & Tree" (this is a change from Dec 1st; see below for details!)
Dec 15th -Lot clean up, 1-4p
Students will receive service hours.

Band Winter Concert Dec 5th, 7p
Band Winter Concert is Dec 5th, 7p, in the Lassiter Concert Hall. What an entertaining way to support your student's hard work! All bands will be performing at this concert.
We will have the opportunity to sell Lassiter-branded coffee (from Aroma Ridge) at the concert. Two volunteers needed to help serve/sell from 6-7p before the concert. Two volunteers needed 30-45 min after the concert ends.
Please email Pam Morder at pam.morder@comcast.net to sign up.
Trunk & Tree
Sunday, Dec 7th, 2pm-3:30pm
To make up for the rained-out Trunk or Treat, how about a Trunk & Tree after the tree lot opens!
*Decorate your trunks and hand out treats
*Listen to our talented LHS ensembles
*Sing along as they play our favorite carols
Turn in or Buy Old Uniforms
As we near the end of the marching season, we would like to offer all of our band families the opportunity to purchase their old marching band uniform jacket and gauntlets, to have as a lasting keepsake. The white jackets and gauntlets are available to all of our current and former band members for the cost of $50.00. If you are interested in purchasing, simply keep the uniform your student currently has and then you will be invoiced accordingly. If you do not wish to purchase the old uniform jacket/gauntlets, they must be returned to the uniform committee. It will be assumed that any student who does not return their old uniform is intending to keep and purchase that uniform and will be invoiced accordingly. If you have any questions, or if you wish to make arrangements to turn in your student's old uniform jacket and gauntlets, please email us at uniforms@lbba.org.
