RECIPE
OF THE WEEK

Simple and Yummy Cranberry Pie


Ingredients

4 cups fresh Bandon cranberries
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
3/4 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs
 

Directions
1)  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2)  Butter one 12" pie pan
3)  Combine flour, sugar, salt
4)  Stir in cranberries and hazelnuts, toss to coat
5)  Stir in the butter, beaten eggs, and almond extract
6)  Spread into 12" prepared pie pan
7)  Bake for 60 min, or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.  Serve warm.
