COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:
1) Miami Valley Works:Miami Valley Works is a FREE program empowering people in poverty to achieve self-sufficiency through long-term employment & career development. For more information or to sign up, contact Michelle Feltz, Program Supervisor, at (937) 528-6496.
2) DP&L Gift of Power: Emergency relief funding is available to customers of record who have received a disconnection notice or have already been disconnected. To apply for assistance, please call The Salvation Army at 937-528-5145. Appointments are on a first come, first served basis from January 21st through April 14, 2020.
3) Ohio Tornado Shelter Rebates: The Ohio Safe Room Rebate Program will take applications from Jan. 6 to April 6. Homeowners that are selected are eligible for up to a 75% rebate (with a maximum of $4,875) of the costs used to install and construct a safe room.

2)Crayons to Classrooms Volunteer to Shop Teacher Program: Crayons to Classrooms is a FREE store for teachers from K-12 schools that serve children living in poverty in Ohio’s Miami Valley. A volunteer program has been developed so teachers who do not work in schools qualifying for services can earn a shopping visit. For more information, click here!
