- This training helped me to have a clear idea about Jesus' ministry and discipleship. I have been able to help our pastors and mentor leaders of some communities.
- We were champions in the Great Command but very poor in the Great Commission. Through the training we learned to turn to the neighborhood community by developing relationships. We now care for the disadvantaged and distressed and the neighborhood has started to respond positively.
- J-life allowed me to understand others through "DISC" (personality styles training). Specifically, there were misunderstandings between some of the leaders in the church - they did not understand each other and everyone had different ways of seeing things and acting, I shared the "DISC" training with 2 of them and they really understood that they had to understand themselves first and foremost. They then understood the behavior of others as well, which made them come to terms with each other.
- I have been discipling a pastor. His life has literally been transformed. His ministry was built upon positional leadership and he was dominant and authoritative. The Lord has done a real work in his heart and pushed him to approach his children and his wife to ask for forgiveness. He has allowed God to turn his church from positional leadership to service leadership.
- A pastor we have been working with explained how his entire church has changed their focus since being exposed to J-Life's model of Jesus. They are now looking at their community and passionately developing relationships. They are sweeping the streets and visiting the sick and the vulnerable. Their neighborhood is beginning to open up to them!
- A pastor I trained said that the Strategy training has changed his perspective in ministry and another pastor said that this is so important as it is not getting learned at pastoral schools.
