Small Business Saturday Pop Up Coming to 95th Street
The Ridge Artisans are planning a pop-up retail shop for Small Business Saturday, November 30. Come browse, sip and hang with some of your favorite local women-owned businesses. Two Mile Coffee Bar will create specialty drinks throughout the day, including a happy hour from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Get Local Beverly is sponsoring live acoustical music for the festive event.
The Ridge Artisan Market is a unique shopping experience sponsored by the Women Entrepreneurs of Beverly (WEB), a community of women who live on Chicago's South Side. The following women-owned businesses will be participating:

Free Business Workshops in December
The City of Chicago Business Affairs and Consumer Protection office is a fantastic resource for small business owners. They offer free workshops every month on a variety of topics, from certification to employment law. You can view their calendar online or download a copy of their upcoming workshops to see what’s coming up in December.

Women’s Workshop Series Concludes Dec. 11
Female business owners are invited to attend “Level Up,” the final workshop in a series designed to empower women entrepreneurs. The session takes place on Wed., Dec. 11, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at City Hall, 121 N. LaSalle St., on the 11th Floor, in Room 1103.
Panelists will share tips on how to take your business to the next level, including insights on scaling and growing your enterprise. The panel will be moderated by Kenya Merritt, Chicago Chief Small Business Officer.

95th Street Has All the Holiday Feels
We hope you enjoy the festive decorations that are being installed for the season on 95th Street. We have removed our street banners for the winter. Doran Landscaping has installed our holiday lights and garland. We look forward to having our large pots on 95th Street from Western to Damen switched to a holiday theme during the week of Thanksgiving. The fall plantings will be removed and replaced with greenery and festive decorations.
Also, thank you for your continued patience with Phase III of Streetscape on 95th Street. Our contractor will be vacating 95th Street in the coming weeks. They will resume construction in the Spring.
