Dear Friends,
December 3rd is International Day of People with Disabilities, and More Than Walking is teaming up with AbleThrive in an international campaign called #ThriveWorldwide to celebrate living life to the fullest, with over 43 meet-ups in more than 17 countries. Join More Than Walking and event sponsors B:Hive Coworking, Artist & Craftsman Supply, and Leisha's Bakeria for a FREE Paint & Coffee Hour from 4-6 pm at 7 Lafayette Cir, Bridgeport, CT. Participants can enjoy baked goods and hot drinks while collaborating on pieces of a watercolor mural that will illustrate the path people with disabilities take to pursue independence. The finished mural will be professionally photographed and shared across More Than Walking's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, with high-resolution digital copies sent to participants.
