Annual Holiday Open House at Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site
BISMARCK, N.D. – The Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site in Bismarck will host its free annual Holiday Open Houses on Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. each day. Visitors can tour the mansion, which will be decorated for the holiday season, and take pictures with Santa Claus. Coffee, hot cider, and cookies will be provided.
The Former Governors’ Mansion, located at the corner of Fourth Street and Avenue B in Bismarck, is a state historic site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The site is open year-round. Winter hours, in place through May 15, are the second combined Friday and Saturday of each month from 1 to 5 p.m. Groups are welcome to schedule visits outside of regular open hours by calling 701.328.9528 or email jcampbell@nd.gov.
