CCMBM Musculoskeletal Events & Opportunities
The Core Center for Musculoskeletal Biology & Medicine (CCMBM) defines itself
by emphasizing musculoskeletal-specific education and services that are critical to its members but not available elsewhere in the university system.

As a member of the CCMBM, I applied and was granted a Junior Investigator Travel Grant Award to attend the Osteoarthritis Research Symposium International World Congress that was held in Toronto, Canada this past May. This conference provided me with many opportunities to learn about current research on osteoarthritis (OA), network with fellow researchers, and attend career development events. I encourage all junior investigators to learn more about the CCMBM and its resources for its members, such as the Junior Investigator Travel Grant Award Program that supports trainee attendance to conferences that will further their career goals.

Koren E. Roach, PhD, Postdoctoral Scholar, Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging
