Giving thanks to all the people who drove out in yesterday's cold rain to donate turkeys, stuffing mix, canned green beans and yams, and to all the volunteers who schlepped the heavy bags of food into church basements and assembled hundreds of Thanksgiving baskets for the families in need.
And praying for comfort for families where there is an empty chair at the table.
And blessings, warmth and love.for all of us, every one.
